Exceptional Children’s Teacher for Hearing Impaired (Wilkes County School, North Wilkesboro).
Teach elementary hearing-impaired students; establish & enforce rules for behavior, policies & procedures to maintain order among students. Prepare & implement lesson plans & employ techniques & strategies to improve & develop sensory & perceptual motor skill, language, cognition & memory. Administer & grade tests & assignments to evaluate students progress. Confer with parents about children’s problems. Bachelor’s Degree – Major field of study: Special Education, plus 1 year experience teaching hearing impaired students, written references req’d. 35 hr/wk, 8a-4p (includes 1 hr break) M-F. $28970/yr.
