Calendar Changes
Due to weather, the 2009/2010 system calendar has changed. Please check the calendar page for snow make-ups and other changes.
The snow makeup days are February 12, 15, May 24, 25.

The Flu & H1N1 Information
Flu information/Información Sobre la Influenza
H1N1 and Seasonal Flu vaccinations available at Wilkes County Health Department
WCS is collaborating with the Wilkes County Health Department to carefully monitor the flu situation and will keep parents and the public updated. School nurses and staff continue to monitor health room visits and track absences to see if they are flu related. WCS is reporting absences to the Wilkes County Health Department on a weekly basis to establish trends and monitor all flu like illness.
