Welcome to North Wilkes Middle School where our mission is to provide a safe learning environment promoting acceptance, fairness, and self-worth. North Wilkes Middle School is located just 7 miles outside the North Wilkesboro city limits in rural Wilkes County. Our school was opened on August 8, 2002 and serves 625-650 students in grades 6-8 from 3 feeder elementary schools: Mountain View Elementary, Mulberry Elementary, and Traphill Elementary.
